Washington Redskins player Chris Cooley has publicly apologized for the mishap in which his penis was accidentally exposed in a photograph on his blog.

All apologies from the website. We are very sorry that we showed a penis on our website all day yesterday. That was by no means our intention and we did not want to offend anyone. The picture wouldn’t have been up for so long, but we were in the middle of winning a big game. Once again, this was a complete accident and we regret not reviewing the post more closely. Thanks.

Thanks Chris, but this apology will never take the place of this image that is burned into the back of our brains.

Although we had planned on starting this blog as a forum to expose how much hipsters suck, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to let everyone know about this hilarious story. Here it is:

Chris Cooley of the NFL‘s Washington Redskins might have a little to be embarrassed about. In a recent blog post, Chris accidentally took some pics of his manhood while trying to show off images from the the “Edge” sections of his playbook.

The photo is at the end of this post… although its hard to see (must have been cold in his house), we’re going to label it as NSFW.

Word has travelled quickly among Redskins fans and we’re expecting some more interesting developments coming from this… maybe some action taken by the League against the player.

Lesson learned… don’t take pics for your blog in the nude. Murphy’s Law isn’t working in your favor if you choose to do so.
